"What are we going to do with it?" Coan asked, looking down at his white sneakers, covered in dirt and blood.
"Dump it probably. I.. don't really know right now." Mongolia said. How could they have missed this, after all those months of planning.
"Where are we going? I can't even drive..."
"To... somewhere. We need to leave right now, that's all i know. Let's go up to Canada. You used to live there, right?... We'll figure it out, now get in the car." Mongolia's car was a dull white and looked so much bigger than it was on the inside. Only two front seats and a trunk. It was suffocating and it didn't help that the car radio was broken. Silence fogged up the inside.
"We need to dump it somewhere. Help me." Mongolia said. Her voice was steady and harsh while her hands were shaking.
"I know somewhere. Turn right here." And with that the car swerved off into a field of a thousand fireflies. The dashboard clock glowed 10:28 and they stepped out of the car into the tall grasses. Coans delicate memory of this field, playing and laughing, distorted into a dark reality. "There should be a deep marsh right here. Make sure you weigh him down. We don't need anyone seeing this." who knew he'd be so good at this for his age? huh. Mongolia thought.

3:23PM, June 2017, Mongolia

"Gosh! I can't believe it's already summer! You guys better call me!" Mongolia said, standing among her four friends. It was almost senior year, the end of highschool. Throughout her life she always had somebody to stick with, and more than likely a group of people. Making friends was never hard for her, she was always the one to approach people. It's surprising how many people don't talk to you unless you approach them.
"We will!!!!" they said in unison, and looked behind her. She spun around and met her boyfriend Will's eyes.
"You scared me!" she said, playfully punching him. He embraced her and her friends whipped out their phones to take pictures and make those cute instagram edits of them. She felt her face get red. "Guys stooooopp!" she said, hiding her face in Wills chest.
"Are we gonna hang out this summer?" he asked, ignoring her friend group. It wasn't really a bother to him.
"Of course. Do you wanna come over tomorrow?" she asked.
"Huh? Yeah, of course. I'll see you later. Love you." and just like that he was gone, and she was left cold. Sometimes she wants to go up to him and hug him, but the last time she did that he got mad at her, just because he was with his friends.
The bell rang and the day was over, tomorrow is really the first day of summer... huh.. I'm on top of the world!!

3:12PM, June 2017, Coan

"Hey Coan, sign my yearbook!" the only person that asked them that, the entire day. The whole week.
"Haha, okay. See you next year, Gerard!" Coan said. Fake laughs, fake smiles. There's nothing here for me.
"Yeah, you too!" he said, walking back to his desk with a smile on his face.
The bell rang, and the school year was over. Finally. It was a short, fitting end. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to say he expected something more from it. But now it's over. And he can just fade into the sky, which is looking pretty cloudy today.
