Love is a Wild Ride - Ch 1

So this is a story I wrote over the summer but I wrote it on twitlonger and posted it on Twitter. Some people have already read this story but I decided to put it on here so if other people wanted to read it, it would be easier to access. Even though the story is complete, I won't upload all at once just to give any new readers some suspense. Hope you guys enjoy it :)

CHAPTER 1

Finally it was summer. And like every summer, I get to go to our family beach house in Miami for half of my break. I couldn't wait to breathe the Florida air, to be able to be on the beach every day, to just chill and be worry free. Even though all I had was my family and no friends over there, except for my cousin, I always had the best time. I started packing clothes and other things that I wanted to bring.

The next morning we went to the airport and pretty soon we were on our way to our Miami beach house. I put my earphones in and slept for most of the flight. I woke up to my mom shaking my shoulder telling me we were here. My aunt, uncle, and cousin Hailey met up with us at the airport and drove us to our beach house, which was right next to theirs.

After unpacking, Hailey and I decided to go to the beach. I changed into a light blue tank top, shorts, and flip flops and walked out to the beach. Me and Hailey were walking and talking catching each other up on new things that happened since we saw each other last summer. I was suddenly distracted by the sound of someone singing the familiar tune of Let Me Love You by Mario. "Shhh" I told Hailey. "Do you hear that?" I asked her. "Hear what?" "That singing...I'll be right back" i say as I walk toward the voice. The singing lead to a small crowd of 6 or 7 girls. I joined the crowd to see who they were watching and saw this teenage boy about my age with brown wavy hair, tan skin, and hazel eyes. As he finished up the song, the girls clapped. "Sing 11:11" one of them say. He smiles and says "alright." Something about his smile made me smile too. I stood there in amazement as he sang the song that was unfamiliar to me. As he sings the catchy lines of "Its 11:11 make a wish, make a wish and say..." I automatically fall in love with the song. "Who is this guy?" I think to myself. "He's crazy talented" As the song finishes the girls clap again and I join in with the clapping. "You're amazing Austin!" I hear one girl say. "I'm guessing his name is Austin" I think to myself. "I love you!" I hear a few girls say. "Can we get a picture?" someone asks. He smiles and says "of course" I watch as all the girls pose for pictures. I didn't realize that I was the only one left until I hear him say "hey do you want a picture too?" "Oh..um..no I just heard someone singing and wanted to find where it was coming from...um I'll go now...you're an amazing singer by the way." I gave him a small smile started to quickly walk away back to Hailey's direction. I never meant for him to see me, I just wanted to know where the singing was coming from. "Hey wait!" he yells but instead of turning around, I just keep walking away.
