draco malfoy never knew who she was.
he never knew of the hufflepuff that seemingly was all but friendly and tenacious. to her, being friendly was her dumping you in a constricting ditch instead of the freezing black river. instead, she was out of the ordinary but continued to hide in the shadows and back of classes.
it only happened on one particular night that he realized who she was.
the stars were scavenging across the waters skin and the moon was blazing the emphasis of the night's hollow. that night, he saw something he shouldn't have. he saw her doing something to another that wasn't natural. so, henceforth from that night he wouldn't find himself normal nor sane. and as it seemed, she would find herself having to teach him all the ways of night walkers and control.
however, when he begins to get out of hand, she realizes that it would have been better off to suck him dry than turn him into something he couldn't handle.
