Robert and I were going on a little bike ride and me, being the competitive person I am, challenged him to a face.
"You're going to lose babe," he said cockily.
"I don't think that's happening," I said.
"We'll see about that," he said stopping his bike.
I stopped mine too then I began to count down.
"Go!" I said.
We began pedaling fast and I was determined to win.
Robert somehow got ahead of me then once he reached the finish line he let go of his handles.
"I win," he said looking back at me with a smirk.
I stopped pedaling and crossed my arms.
"That's not fair," I pouted as I got off my bike
"My poor baby, come here," he said holding out his arms.
"No," I said.
"Baby..." he said laughing.
I laid my head on his chest then he gave me a hug.
"I'm sorry I had to win," he said.
I glared at him then he chuckled and kissed my forehead softly.
"You're mean," I said.
"How about we race back home, loser makes lunch," he said.
I smiled then hurried up and got on my bike and took off.
"Cheater!" Robert called after me.
I hurried back home and once I got there I pumped my fist.
Robert was behind me and I laughed.
"Come on goofball, I guess I have to make us something to eat," he said.
"You know why? Because I won!" I said.
Robert put me in a playful headlock and I laughed.
"Maybe I let you win," he said.
"I highly doubt that," I said kissing his cheek.
He gave me a look then I hurried off and he chased after me, we were laughing the entire time.
