there once was an octopus named squishee. squishee was very funny, kind, and amazing but the other octopi made squishee feel gross and sad.
the other octopi started to make fun of squishee saying "who has a name like squishee?" this made squishee extra sad.
while squishee was leaking, she met another octopus named gumpy. gumpy got made fun of too for her name, for none of the other octopi understood how she could have a name like gumpy.
gumpy was leaking too, squishee noticed this and felt sad so she asked "are you okay?"
gumpy looked at squishy and gave a small smile, "yes" she replied, "i'm okay".
squishee didn't believe the other octopus, but squishee couldn't help but smile.
"what is your name?" squishee asked
gumpy looked down with a sad frown "you're going to laugh at it" gumpy said, tears forming once again
"no i won't!" said squishee
"okay.. well my name is gumpy.. what about yours?"
squishee giggled when immediately gumpy got even more sad
"i told you you would laugh!" she exclaimed
squishee looked sad but smiled and said "no! it's cute, my name is squishee"
gumpy stared at squishee for a second and giggled "that's cute!" she laughed
squishee smiled and said "you can be my gumpy owo"
gumpy giggled and replied "and you can be my squishee!"
the two octopi hugged each other giggling and they were both happy 🥰❤️🐙
