Meet twenty-seven Wesley Lawrence, PhD candidate at Harvard University, and heir to one of the wealthiest families in the country. He is known for being hard working, arrogant, and cold amongst his peers and students. Desirous of proving himself in his chosen field and as more than the pampered, Lawrence heir, Wesley is immensely serious about his work and does not plan on adjusting his attitude anytime soon.
Enter Rose Carroll, twenty-two years-old and an undergraduate student at Harvard intent on attending law school. In spite of her serious goals, Rose does not tend to take herself too seriously, continuing to maintain her energetic, warm, down to earth nature be she in class, at her two jobs as a barista and dance teacher, or working toward getting into law school. She does her best to keep thoughts of her past deep within the recesses of her mind.
