Lily's face was folded, and her body quivered in fury, and her eyes were soaked with tears.

"Lily?" called her father as he lightly knocked on the door.

She looked away, not wanting to think of the current situation.

"Lily?"

She almost furiously got up. But she shook her head, uttering a shallow, "No."

"Lily-- I command you to open the door!" he roared. And Lily mouthed an angry:

"No!"

"Why? Why don't you want us to help you out?"

"Because I don't want to."

"Why don't you want to marry Mike?"

"Because that isn't the man I want to marry, dad."

And he looked aside, overcome by pressure. "Look, you know I don't want this either-- it's what our culture requires of us--"

"Then our culture is filthy!" she came in. "I don't want to be married by a--"

"I WANT TO SEE MY WIFE!" a heavy and abrupt thunder came free. "WHERE IS SHE?!"

And Lily's father shuddered slightly. "Look, if I don't give you to him, a curse will befall on us."

And she almost chuckled. "You know there's no such thing, dad."

He groaned slightly. What would it take to convince this brat?

"Look, this man will give you pleasure."

Her eyes almost bobbed out. "DAD?!"

"What?" he asked. "I'm saying pleasure in being loved and cared for-- Jesus, Lily!"

"Dad," she said as she now looked towards the door. "If I open that door, will you take me by force to the man I don't love?"

And he shook his head. "No, of course not--"

"Dad?" And she closed her eyes for a second. "Dad, tell me the truth."

"Of course not, my daughter."

Even though this was what he probably had in mind.

"I... WANT TO SEE MY WIFE!" Mike shouted from downstairs.

And his eyes went up. "Look, if you don't marry him-- I promise you I won't visit you."

"Dad?"

"Three--"

"Open the door!"

"Two!"

She noticed that something bad was going to happen.

"One!"

"Open!" he commanded once more.

And a gun went off.

Bang!

He went to his knees and yelped.

"Dad?" she asked, quietly walking towards the door.

"GET HIM!"

And she opened it.

Just in time to see two men pull his father away. He was sobbing and made a weak upheaval. "No, no, no. Don't... Don't do this. Why? Why?"

And as one of the men looked at her, she quickly closed the door and looked for her phone.

"Oh gosh," she uttered as she realized she'd left it downstairs. "What now? What?"

And she rushed to the window and saw a man down there.

She shook her head, and uttered a quick: "No."

She then heard a slow and sadistic voice saying, "Marry me or your father dies!"

She quickly rushed out, and said, "I will... I will marry you then."

But his father shook his head. "No; don't do it-- I deserve it."

But she shook her head. "No, marry me."

And Mike smiled evilly. "Good."
