"Is that Noah?" I ask, leaning into Luke.

"Yeah, I think so. Why? Are you catching feelings?" Luke replies, smirking at me.

"No!" I tell him, rolling my eyes. 

The library is dead silent, so I'm pretty sure everyone here just heard that conversation. Luke laughs to himself, both of us trying to finish our homework. All I can think about is how Ebony is going to completely ruin Noah. I just wish there was a way to like, I don't even know, warn him somehow? I would hate for him to be lonely his senior year in highschool. From what I can tell, he's seventeen like the rest of us, but he has this young essence about him. Maybe google will have the answers.

It's crazy that we have an actual celebrity going to our school. I scroll through articles and pictures of Noah, which feels like I'm intruding on his life. I glance up at him, comparing the boy in the pictures and the boy sitting a few tables over. From his online presence, he seems hyper and crazy, but from here he looks so calm and introverted. I wonder what the real Noah Schnapp is like.

"Whatcha lookin' at?" Luke asks, looking at my computer.

"Nothing!" I blurt out, snapping my computer shut. Or should I schnapping? Ew, forget I ever said that.

"You sure you weren't creeping on your boy Noah?" He says.

"Oh shut up, I'm not creeping, just...informing myself." I reply, trying to hold back a smile.

"Well if you think he's that pretty, why don't you go talk to him." Luke asks, a hint of offense in his voice.

"Okay, I will." I snap, standing up abruptly. Luke looks up at me surprised and I hold back a grin as I make my way over to Noah's table. I walk over, slowly, trying to think of something to say. When I get there, Noah doesn't even notice because of his headphones. I contemplate going back, but I look over my shoulder to see Luke cheering me on from a distance. Confidently, I take a seat across from Noah.

"Hi?" He says, pulling out his earbuds.

"Hi. I'm Y/n." 

"Noah." He says, confused. I sit there looking at him when I realize that I look crazy and should probably reply.
