10 : should i

an itching on my skin
slide across my thighs
skipping on my arms
tearing at my eyes

a biting in the flesh
a screaming in the shower
fingernails and seashells
abused every hour

climbing up a roof too steep
or falling off the bed
two things unalike in words
but both could leave me dead

push pins , razor blades
sharp knives , paper clips
safety scissors , bottle caps
all produce a cover ripped

food banging in the hole
sobbing on the bathroom floor
prostrate the clavicle bone
tighten up the flabby core

tears falling down your face
tears of muddy bloody waste
wonder why they never ask
until you are the one to take

— goodnight
