The Ocean Waters

The sandy touch was a relief.
The water crashes to the ground,
the droplets feeling my toes.

The waters were convincing,
drawing me closer.
I feel the stones.

I'm scared.
Do I swim or do I test?
I step closer.

I'm deep in the waters,
she told me she loves.
I'm lacking breath.

I try to swim up,
but she pulls me down.
I can't breathe.

I should've seen the warnings.
Swim up! Swim up!
"This is all your fault" my mind spoke.

I look down past clouds
just to see her lie to the world.
"I love her!" She says.
