𝔏ife would be different, surely. The outer districts of Panem never provided a stable existence, but there was a certain predictability in the infrequent meals and impoverished homes.
Those certainties would vanish the moment Rowan Everdeen returned home. Her reward for murder would be a new home and steady income, but neither would compare to the fear she knew people would have when they saw her.
Yet even after returning home, she would not be left in peace. The Victory Tour would begin weeks later, and the memories she tried to suppress would return when she would be forced to confront the families of those she killed.
Yet outside of the city walls that confined the victors of the twelve districts, words of war were spoken between the suppressed people of Panem. All that was needed was a spark, for the revolution to begin.
