This is the story of Penelope Jackson. No, not a demigod one. She is a regular mortal tackling highschool with her friends Jessica and Lea, her boyfriend Anderson, and Jess's boyfriend Peter. They are all going to have a blast, or so she hoped.
Jessica's twin brother Theo found a boyfriend in Ryan, but tried to hide it. Meanwhile, Penelope's friend Willa struggles to hide her relationship with Nickel Di Angelo.
Daniel Tanaka is picking on Hazel, and his girlfriend Francis fights a similar battle with Octavia, who makes fun of Nickel too (wait till Willa finds out!).
Camron is charmed by Lea, with her cheesy jokes and wild look in her eyes. But there's no way he would ever admit liking her. Trixie, Lea's friend, has a crush of Kay Gardner she can't shake, even though her twin Cam tells her to let it go. And Bryce Di Angelo is suspisous that Nickel is being teased but doesn't know exactly who.
Our story begins two weeks after school starts, once everyone has their groups set up but the cliques are still a little shaky.
