Tala's POV

I'm currently studying at San Sebastian and I'm taking accountancy and business management, ABM Yeah I'm just grade 11 and soon to be grade 12 after all I was the only one to take care of my parents' company, to be honest, I never really wanted their company. My dream was to travel across the galaxy and explore other planets, but then I guess that will never happen cause I'm the only child. My parents separated and my dad lives in the USA with his new American Wife. Every month, my Dad visits me and my Mother gives me 5 days to be with him. My Dad always gives me a gift even though it's not my birthday, that's how sweet he is.

I'm currently on my way to school to finish my final examination, and I'm always at the top even though it's not my goal. I'm doing this for my mom.

I have best friends here and we're in a different strand.

"Okay class will be started in 20 mins ". Ms Fabbri said we have some spare time para mag review, nakapag review na ako kagabi and I guess that's enough, kaya nag punta lang ako sa canteen para kumain ng konti dahil Hindi nanaman ako nakakain sa pag mamadali, while I'm walking, I saw may my crush a varsity player and the MVP of the year, Charles Molina.  His 19 and I admire him because he's cool and nice.

URGGG!!! I can't breathe! his in front of me what should I do!? Ok, ang OA ko, just walk Tala he doesn't even know you.

Then I walk acting like nothing happening.
But then something happened. I stepped on a banana peel that made me slipped. It happened fast but felt like I was in a slow motion

Pero, I didn't felt any pain, so I decided to open my eyes and I saw this man in front of me, it's Dexter Avila, mabuti nalang at nasalo nya ako. I saw Charles walking away with a bad face, what's with him? kanina lang ok pa sya ah?

"Tala ok ka lang ba? Kinabahan ako Sayo ako, ano bang ginagawa mo at di ka nakatingin sa dinadaanan mo?".  He asked me.

I replied "Nothing". Then nag sabay na kami papunta sa canteen. Dexter is one of my friends and we have the same strand, also were also rivals but we are still friends. Lagi ko syang natataasan sa academics Pero Lagi rin nya akong natataasan pag dating sa sports, but I'm still the only one on top even though I tend to be Lowkey,  It doesn't matter at all. Di naman ako pinipilit ni mommy maging top one, it just so happens tobe that I am.

After eating some snacks tumuloy na kami sa room namin para ipag patuloy ang exam, nag tatawanan kami ni Dexter Dahil mali daw ata ang isinagot Nya kahit Alam ko na gusto nya lang ako tumawa, but that's whats makes me happy, he's a friend indeed. Anyway then after the exam I saw Asena Gurra, the nerdy girl but she's pretty after all and she's also smart and active when it comes to the academics, she's from the STEM strand.

"Talaaa!". sigaw Nya saakin, napangiti naman ako ng Makita syang mukhang Masaya.
"Hey Asenahow was your exam?". I asked politely,
"It's  okay naman, it's not that difficult kasi tinuro Naman Yun saka ok lang pag di ako masama ng top sa finals, gusto ko ng baby Tala. Ang Dami ko napapanood tas Sabi nila ang sarap daw sa pakiramdam pag Nakita mo yung baby mo". This is Asena, the one who always dream of having a baby. Diko alam Kung bakit pero Lagi Nyang sinasabi yan. Wala Naman jowa  kaya natatawa nalang kami ni Dexter, why? Kasi pag hindi sya nasasama sa top, lagi nyang sina sabi na she doesn't want to have baby. Confusing right ?

We're on our way to library para hintayin si Suri Bufford. I guess nahihirapan nanaman sya, she's a GAS student, and still thinking about the course she want. She's talkative and she likes shopping pero mataas ang pasensya nya at loyal din sya.  That's the thing I love'd about her pero mas close sila ni Asena kasi pareho sila ng pag iisip, parehong pareho. Nerd si Asena at talkative pero mahiyain sya pag iba na ang kaharap nya.

"Hoy babae! Bat mo sinama si Dexter? Ayoko kasama yan! Wag mo ng isama yan, tingnan mo oh mang babae lang yan dun eh". Bigla akong nagulat sa kanya nung nakita nya na kasama ko si Dexter na kasama namin papunta sa mall para mag celebrate sa finals namin. They hate each other. I replied "Hayaan mo na Suri, minsan lang naman eh saka mabait naman sya eh tagal tagal na natin kasam-" bigla akong natigil when Dexter interrupted me.

"Hoy! Baka ikaw ang hindi namin isama, ikaw na nga itong hinintay, ikaw pa tong nag iinarte, wag kang sasama huh? Driver ko pa naman ang gagawin naming service". He said. Natawa ako bigla pero nanahimik din agad nang tiningnan ako ng masama ni Suri at nag yaya nang umalis.

Natawa ako kay Suri kase despite sa tension meron silang dalawa ay sumama din naman sya at tumahimik nalang na para bang walang nangyari.

I suddenly felt that I needed to go to the bathroom so I excused myself at sinabing susunod nalang sa napag usapang lugar. There they are walking while I'm going to the opposite direction. And then I saw Charles with his friends walking towards me and made eye contact with him. He looked at me and then his facial expressions went bad, I have this feeling that he hates me, kaya umiwas nalang ako dahil hindi ko na alam ang dapat pang gawin. It's embarrassing, if I nod on him, I mean we're close right? I didn't do it. Nag patuloy nalang akong mag lakad papunta sa CR at nag retouch lang at on the go na ako.

Bago ako maka labas ay nakita ko nanaman si Charles na naka tayo sa may labas ng CR. Nakakagulat naman  may hinihintay ba sya? hinihintay nya ba ako? or? Wahhh!!! ayoko na nga! kinikilig lang ako eh. Mahirap na mag assume baka umasa lang ako.

I saw his face na biglang tamingin saakin at bigla akong nagulat ng nakita ko na may tao pala sa likod ko. Agad nya yung sinalubong at niyakap, narinig kong sinabe nya sa babae "Baby girl tara na, nag hihintay na sila dun". I was shocked  whaaaaaaat ? may jowa na sya? And then they walked ayaw huhuhu. I came back to my friends when I suddenly felt the tears falling from my eyes.
