*Eleanor Up Top*

*Before I begin*

Some of you may have seen this before, but I never finished this fanfic, so I deleted it, and I deleted the account, now I revamped it, and here we are. I made a couple of changes but, I hope you enjoy it nonetheless. I'm sorry if I have made any mistakes.

I always wanted to see Why Don't We in concert. But my parents never had the money to buy tickets and even when they did, they told me that buying concert tickets was a waste of money. No matter how many times I told them that it would mean a lot to me.

The boys have come to my city twice before, and by the time I had the money, it was too late. This time I found out that they were coming three months before the concert. Which I figured was enough time to find some odd jobs and earn some cash. But it isn't as easy as it sounds.

"Ellie, come downstairs. I made breakfast." My mom yells to me.

I roll my eyes and throw my books in my backpack for school and throw it over my shoulder before carrying it downstairs.

"I made pancakes." My mom tells me.

I nod my head and sit at the table.

We sit in silence. My mom, dad, little brother and me.

But I was excited, and I couldn't take it anymore.

"Mom, I'm going to start looking for jobs again." I tell her, playing with my food.

"What are you saving up for?" My dad asks.

I shrug. "Just concert tickets."

"Not Again El. Why don't you buy something useful? You could help us around the house. You know we've been struggling."

I sigh. "I guess you're right."

"Of course we're right. You live here and you're old enough to chip in."

I look at my little brother and he's eating with his head down. He's heard this conversation too many times before.

"I think you guys should get ready for school." My mom says, putting her napkin on the table after wiping her hands. "I'll drop you off."

I stand up. "I'm actually going to walk today."

"If that's what you want."

I grab my backpack. "I'll see you guys when I get home."

My dad nods.

I sigh once again and I walk outside.

I look at my phone and I have fifteen minutes get there but it's a twenty-minute walk. I shake my head and walk as fast as I can.

I get to the school and my best friend, Olivia, is standing out front.

" Ellie!"

I walk over to her. "Hey Olive. What's up?"

"Oh, nothing." She grabs my arm and we walk inside.

"Why are you so happy today?"

"Don't worry, you'll see."

I have a confused look on my face as we walk up to my locker. We stand there for a minute.

I look at her.

"Open it." She tells me.

"Why?"

"Just do it already!" People are starting to look at us now.

"Shh. Don't bring attention to us." I shake my head and I open my locker and an envelope falls out. "What's this?"

"See for yourself."

I pick it up and I open it. "It's a meet and greet for Why Don't We. Olivia, you didn't have to."

She shrugs and smiles. "My parents wanted to. They know how much it means to you."

I hug her as tight as I can. "Thank you so much. I can't believe this."

She hugs me back. "You don't have to thank me. With everything that you're going through, you deserve this."

"You're the best friend anyone can ask for."
