Time and time again.

This life that you see
Is not all that it seems
Its a mirage of false emotion
Of lies and lost devotion
You find yourself lost here
Time and time again.

You trust the wrong souls
They extract the morals you know
Freeze the warmth in you heart
Face it, we're not smart
We forget, sin and regret
Time and time again.

You begin to lose hope
But learn to just cope
Your desire for love deepens
Your iman weakens
We blame it on Shaytaan
Time and time again.

The heart cries out In pain
The tears too fierce to tame
You want them by your side
To wipe the tears at night
You pray for that moment
Time and time again.

The shards cut deep
I wish to lay flat; sleep
Thank you for the help you've given
You're my force, kept me driven
You listen to the crap I've been through
Time and time again.

They say its an illusion
An insipid delusion
A false dose of loving
Something not worth having
Its happened before, it'll happen again
Time and time again.

People will deceive
Hide secrets, make you perceive
The hatred brews, puts your faith at stake
So forgive your enemies for Allah's sake
Make dua for them
Time and time again.

I know its hard, dear
At first intentions seem sincere
The whispers of shaytaan feel like the right decision
But we're blinded, lost our vision
We hear what we want to hear
Time and time again.

A good friend can be many
But not just any
Your my pillar, I can count on you
You know me, solve my issues
I want to thank you
Time and time again.

My life is not your problem
But you try your best, you're awesome
I can't express my gratitude
Your charisma, your attitude
I pray for you everyday
Time and time again.
