A Man and lady are seen driving on the highway smiling as they continue their conversation until their car hits into something the man goes to check until something attacks him and as the girl drops her phone she runs but is grabbed by something and is killed.

Hope's Pov

Im writing in my diary ever since my parents died i decided i wanted to write everything that happened in my diary so that one day i will tell them when i see them, its a fresh start at school today and im gonna start fresh , i know its the only thing that will get me through, i live with my aunt freya and my brother jared.

As i walk out to see my best friend Maya 

in the car 

maya: hey girl

hope: hey how maya how was summer

maya: it was crazy this guy told me that im physic 

hope: what no way why?

maya: i told him what was gonna happen to his dog and he told me i was right

hope: thats pretty intense

maya: well i predict this year is gonna be kick ass

We both laugh as we drive upto Mystic Falls High

Their's a mysterious girl walking upto the building with cool shades as everyone watches by admiring her, meanwhile hope and maya are gossiping by the lockers about the school's new rebuild, until maya spots hope's ex boyfriend landon watching across by his locker, hope awkwardly waves at landon who slightly nods walking away.

Suddenly Hope's other best friend Jade Walks towards them 

Jade: Hope oh my god how are u it's so good to see you

Jade then sees maya and asks about hope's which hope interupts and assures her she's fine 

Hope: im fine jade it was just a breakup and it was mutual

Jade: yeah but still the whole school is gossiping about it

maya then gives jade a look which jade then shuts up seeing hope look kinda annoyed that everyone was talking about her and landon's breakup

Hope: it's nice of you to care Jade but im fine 

Jade: oh you poor thing, gotta go now i'l see you guys later bye

maya and hope wave away to jade who struts down the hallway with her high  heels.

As Hope and Maya Walk Towards The Office They See A New Hot Girl Platinum Blonde hair her back turning to them 

maya: who's the new hottie 

hope blushes a bit as she watches curiously at the mystery new figure 

Lizzie takes off her sunglasses and compells the teacher while smiling smugly as she is enrolled into the school.

hope then spots her brother going into the bathroom which makes her follow him while maya checks out this new mysterious girl.
