       Somewhere along the line, Lydia Yue messed up.

       Despite her efforts to remain unnoticed, a silent soul reading poisonous plant almanacs in the Seattle Public Library, she was caught shoplifting and sentenced to finish high school at The Wilderness School in Middle-of-Freaking-Nowhere, Nevada. Even worse, she's can't shake these weirdo freaks she's been grouped with by a PE coach that is insisting she's something called a demigod. Whatever the hell that is.

       The only thing that matters to Lydia anymore is making it to age eighteen. It used to be sixteen, but then her father died and she was guaranteed at least another year of life. Who knew that staying alive would be harder than she thought? Especially with these new thorns in her side.

welcome to thorns! this is my first fanfiction work and i don't plan to let down one of my favorite series of all time so i'll strive to do it justice. my girl lydia is ready to bust out her katana and whip some monster ass! as much as she's a brick wall at first, i hope as the story progresses, she'll grow on you. she's not a bad person, just someone whose past trauma has shaped her greatly. we'll see if some demigods can loosen her up.
