Prologue
We dream of becoming a doctor, together. We dream of graduating together. But why did he left me, without words, why did he left me hanging and still holding in into our dreams while he let go into it?
Why do we make a promise when we never fulfilled it?
I was on the train station and I witness a commotion.
There is a man who suddenly punch a guy and saying things that I can't comprehend.
Lumapit ako upang malaman kung anong nangyayari at bakit may nanggugulo
Is he drunk? Judging him, he was loosing his balance, having trouble in walking.
He walks near to me and point at me
"What are you doing in my house?"
He is indeed drunk. I smell the stench of liquor coming out from his mouth
I stand there and observe him for more
"Get out here, I'll call a police and I will. Sue you all"
An angry behavior
Suddenly he points in the man beside me
"Yow man sit here in our sofa and let's have some drink"
Hallucinations both auditory and visual
"Oh my daughter were have you been your dad misses you"
A mental state of confusion
Lumapit ako sa kanya at sinipa ang likod ng tuhod niya, agad siyang napadapa at hinarap ko siya paharap sa akin
He has a fever
I grab his wrist and look for his pulse. I also checked his heart
Overactive symphatetic nervous system and a rapid heartbeat
I also look into his eyes and it was yellowish
Symptoms of acute jaundice
My hands went under into his clothes

While I was holding his stomach he punch me and slapped me then punch me again
Shit, it hurts
People around me gasp and they are holding a camera probably taking a video on what's happening

"Let's call the police"
"No, No call 911 instead, he need immediate treatment"
They hesitated but still followed my orders
Paramedics arrive and stated questioning me why I called them
"He is having a delirium tremens due to excessive drinking of liquor" I explained "he need an immediate treatment before worst come to worst"
We bring him to the nearest hospital, and that hospital is my workplace
I am now a doctor
