Before the Tragedy.
The competitors of the newest killing game had just been announced. Korekiyo had a curious look on his face as he watched the TV. Rantaro held an arm around Shinguji, hugging him tightly. "Rantaro, my beloved. Do not forget about me alright?" Korekiyo spoke softly, moving the hair out of his eyes and holding Rantaro's head in his chest. Korekiyo shifted, handing Rantaro a wrapped gift. Rantaro looked deeply into the other man's stare. He unwrapped the gift and smiled. "A necklace?.." Shinguji nodded, caressing Rantaro's face. "Yes. Do you like it?" Rantaro nodded, putting the necklace on. "I won't forget about you Korekiyo. Promise." Korekiyo smiled and let out a short sigh. "Promise, love."
