PROLOGUE

PROLOGUE: 8 YEARS PRIOR...

On the planet of Alderaan a  friece battle was being fought in order to resecure the capital palace, and it seemed to be reaching its conclusion, but in all the chaos there were three warriors fighting each other, an Zabrak with red patterns over black on his face with menacing yellow Sith eyes holding a double ended red saber.

While two humans one an younger Jedi with Auburn coloured hair with an tied braid using a blue saber, another a much older Jedi with long brown hair with greys showing the experience of a warrior using a green saber.

The fighters fought all over the place in a hangar leading to the capital then reaching an reactor shaft, where pink beams came out of the middle, giving the place an seemingly blinding feeling, like no one would be able to tell where the duel would be occurring apart from the flashes of sea hues blue and apple green on scarlet red.

As the clashes of colours continued, out of the shadows another Zabrak jumped into the fray knocking away the younger Jedi, his face having yellow patterns over brown in contrast, but he was swinging his twin sabers like an angry bull, pushing the young Jedi away from his master, leaving the other to deal with the older Jedi.

The clashes of the Zabrak came with thunderous blows, you could almost hear it from a distance, nearly breaking the guard of the younger Jedi called Obi Wan Kenobi feeling the strain as he tried to counter with fast lightning strikes.

"Jedi scum! I will keep you away from my brother until he kills your master!" Savage Oppress roars, referring to the fight where the hardened Jedi Qui Gon Jinn and Darth Maul were duelling, Qui Gon's style used acrobatic movements however with such a confined space, it limited movement and with his age he was starting to slow, attacks becoming sloppy with each parry.

The sweat was showing on his face, Maul then seeing this, used a force scream in order to disorient Qui Gon leading to--

"AH!" Qui Gon gasped feeling an intense heat through his abdomen, the sight horrified Obi Wan, "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!" he echoed then, with rage blinding, he charged Savage, being completely unbalanced swinging his blade wildly, eventually he pushed Savage back cutting an arm off, being taken off his guard.

Savage snarled at Kenobi and in an epic show of swordsmanship, fuelled by anger and grief, Obi Wan manages to cut Maul's saber in half, Savage then tries to strike Kenobi but he is then forced backwards and the next thing he knew--

"GURGH! Urhhh...." groaned Maul, as Kenobi withdrew a green saber, and Savage saw that his hand was raised, (He forced me out to kill my brother in an instant!) He thought as Maul's body split, sideways falling down the long shaft in the middle of the room to his demise.

Savage tries to charge Obi Wan but then the force field in the room comes up, and snarling in anger, he retreats as Obi Wan shuts off the green saber, but he was disappointed in himself for losing control and killing Maul, he then runs over to his dying master.

"It's....*cough,cough* too late....." Qui Gon wheezes out, "No!" Obi Wan chokes, tears forming.

"Listen......Obi Wan....the boy.....Anakin.... He......is the chosen one.....train him..." Qui Gon says, wheezing out his last words, "Yes master..... but what of his brother?" Obi Wan asked, tearing out.
