"It's over"
I watched him break up with me..I felt my world crumbling..my legs were becoming so weak..I could collapse..
"Why?..what was my offence"
With tears rolling down my cheeks..i want to know the reason why Jaden had to do this to me..
"Jaden please tell me what I did"
I was trying so hard not to cry out loud..I looked into his eyes..I couldn't find that love he once had for me..ever since he gained admission into the federal university of Ibadan..he changed..he was drifting..I could feel it, and whenever I decide to talk about it..he would get highly mad at me and I will end up apologizing..
"Iris..I just don't find you interesting anymore.. you are so clingy.. you always have a way of creating issues between us"
"If that's the case..then I am sorry.. please don't end it.. I would die if you ever leave me"
"Iris! Stop it..stop saying sorry..you are always sorry iris.. always!.."
"That's all I can say..then it's left for me to change.. which I know I did..I did everything to please you because I love you"
Our relationship was heading to a year now and I could not let it go down the drain..just like that..
"Then if you love me please let me go..you don't deserve me..I guess it's my time to be sorry.. I'm sorry iris..I can't continue with you.."
"No..No..No..Jaden don't do this please..what have I done..just tell me..I would fix it"
"Fix yourself first.. Goodbye iris"
I watch him walked out the door of my house..
"Jaden!!!"
I fell to the floor.. hoping the ground would open to swallow me up..I crawled towards the door calling out his name.. praying he would come back and lift me up from my sorrows..
"I never did anything..I never did anything Jaden.."
Tears rolled down my face..I was heartbroken..I couldn't control myself..I just want to die..life was so unfair that moment..
"He left me.."
Jaden P.O.V
"Finally.." with smile on my face..
Immediately i reached out for my phone and dial Andrew's number..
"Poom..poom..poom..poom.." it rang..
"Hello Jay.. what's the update"
"Drew.. finally I have gotten rid of that classless girl..can you imagine..she was apologizing.."
"Normally..she would.. that girl really loves you o"
"But I don't love her anymore.. you can go ahead and date her"
"Why would I? She's not my type"
"Same here..now I can go to school single..and date all those classy chicks in campus..with nice skin and nice ass"
"Jay man! Bad boy..I like your ways"
"I appreciate.."
"Hahaha..jay I will come over to your place during the day.."
"Okay.. bring your play station along with you.."
"I will.. bad boy Jay!" He hailed me over the phone..
"Hahaha...drew man!"
I ended the call..and headed towards my house..
"I pray she gets over me.."
Grace P.O.V
I got back home from school and met our door widely open with my sister lying down Infront of the door..I thought we were robbed and she was killed..
"Iris.. iris..iris.."
I was losing it...fear gripped me..
"Jaden...I know you would come back.."
I looked at her... I could see tears on her face..she was looking so sad..
"Iris..get up from the cold floor.."
"Grace.."
"Yes sis..sis what are you doing here..why did you have to leave the door so opened.. don't you know mosquitoes are coming in.."
"Grace..Jaden left me.."
I saw my sister burst into another round of hot tears..I was moved by her tears but I don't want to cry in her presence..I need to be strong for her..
"Get up sis.. don't do this here.. people might see you like this.."
I lifted her up and placed her on the couch..and hurried went towards the door to shut it..to avoid more mosquitoes from entering into the house..
"Why did he break up with you see.. what did you do to him.."
"He couldn't tell me..he said he wasn't longer interested in me again.." she wiped her nose with her black chiffon top..
"He's an ingrate.. he's loss anyway..I knew he never loved you from the beginning"
I moved closer and gave her a shoulder to cry on..she really needs it..I could see her pains through those tears she was dropping..
"Cry sis..ease yourself..let those pains flow"
"Jaden left me..he left"
"Shh..it doesn't mean it's the end of the world.. another would still come.."
She was crying so hard..her body was boiling up..I have never seen her in this state before..
"Jaden.. for the pains you caused my sister..it shall never be well with you"
I took her to the room.. and told her to undress herself and go and shower..so her body temperature would fall..
Iris.. where's mom..
"She's not back yet"
She took off her clothes and walk naked straight to the bathroom without her towel around her..
"I will be watching you sis.. I don't want you to commit suicide"
