STORYLINE person A's the museum curator and when she/he conducts a final check-up on the newest collection before the big opening, she/he realizes one of the paintings is missing.
OPTIONAL PLOT TWIST person B, the figure in the missing painting, finally has the chance to break the curse. through replacement.
NOTES could be a thriller/romance fic? you could make person B have malicious intentions and the fic could easily walk the horror genre road or you could give it that little twist and make person B realize the incapability to trap person A because of her/his developing feelings for person A.
