Y/n had tears in her eyes as she watched her father the man who taught her everything she knew pass away right in front of her.

"Miss I understand that it's just you and your father at home so we will need to contact any other legal guardians maybe your mother or grandparents" the nurse said gently

"my mother" y/n said as tears threatened to fall

"Okay do you have her phone number because you can smog stay here sweetheart" the nurse answered

"No but I can give my brother a call" y/n said pulling out her phone and going to to her twins contact

"I'll give you a minute" the nurse said quickly exiting the room

Ringggg...ringg-

"Hello" a gruff voice said

"Ken he's gone and I have to come back home" y/n said with my voice croaking from holding back tears

"Alright I'll tell mom we will be by in a couple hours" he said before hanging up

"Ugh what am I going to do without you Dad" y/n said holding his cold hand

"Is someone on their way" the nurse asked

"Oh yes my brother and mom said they'd be by in a couple hours" Y/n responded

"Alright well I can treat you to dinner before the Cafe closes if you'd like" the nurse said kindly

"Oh no thank you I'll be fine I hope you don't mind me staying here a few more hours" Y/n said softly

"Oh no I don't mind just don't cause any trouble I'll be at the front desk" she said before leaving the room

.ringggg...ringggggg..ring-

"Hello" Y/n said groggily

"Were outside" My brother said with a rough voice

"Okay" Y/n said before hanging up

Y/n quickly grabbed my duffel before saying a goodbye to my dad and quickly walked out.

"I'm being picked Goodbye Thank you" Y/n said as she passed the nurse station

"Of course sweetie" she said kindly

Once I got down the stairs and got out the hospital my brother almost tackled me to the ground before quickly catching me.

"Woah i guess you missed me huh" y/n chuckled as She hugged back

He grunted instead of giving me a proper response. Once we finished our hug he wrapped his arm around my shoulders as we walked to the car.

"Hello Mom thank you for driving out here so late" Y/n said politely to not start an argument

"Let's just get home" she said rudely

Y/n sighed as she let Ken fall asleep on her lap.

"Alright get up were here" my mom said hitting y/n and Ken

"Okay okay were up" Y/n said with a groggy voice

"Btw you're going to school with Ken tomorrow" she said before quickly walking inside

"Come on Ken let's get to bed" Y/n said gently

He grunted and slowly got up stretching.

After a night of twisting and turning and zero sleep it was time for Ken's Volleyball practice. And since our mom didn't want her around y/n joined him.
