NOTES angst/fantasy fic vibes? i dunno;; if i was writing this book, the "something mind-boggling" would be like person A shapeshifting from a firefly to a human because she's able to do so every 12 pm. then maybe the angst could hit when industrialization & westernization happens and all the fireflies, including her, are forced to flee.
