16 : choose to remember I

your sleepy eyes reflecting diamonds from intruding sunlight slipping through the half-closed shutters.

your chocolate locks tangled and twirled into different knots between my sleep-softened fingertips.

your unrestrained, face wrinkling smile as your arms pull me over you into the crevice of your chest and legs.

your scent of wood cabins, winter, and green leaves invading my senses as my nose is nuzzled into your bare chest.

these are things i will miss. these are the moments i will choose to remember of you.

--just wait for the things i choose to forget
