You'd think having super powers would be easy, but you'd be surprised in today's world. I sat down with my E-Cuffs on. They aren't like the old fashioned handcuffs used way back when, these had electricity holding me. If I strayed too far from their power source a.k.a. the police hover van, then I'd be shocked with at least 10 volts of electricity and it'd go up from there if I kept moving.

I looked down to my right at my little sister Katrina. My name pretty much described my powers, but Katrina had a normal name. One that could be used for cover if the situation called for it. She also had powers, but they weren't like mine. My talents were based around fire and heat whereas her powers were unbeknownst to me besides some electricity stuff. I was never able to pin her powers to anything broad or specific besides that.

I awoke from my thoughts when one of the officers walked in front of me and kneeled down to see my fiery red, yellow, and orange eyes. He had black hair and seemed to be in his 20's judging from his small growth of facial hair. His eyes were dark brown and although he'd seem nice enough otherwise, his mouth was curled into a sneer. His breath reeked of coffee and cigarette smoke.

"There's always a way you don't have to get put into one of the camps ya know."

His city accent was just as thick as his bad breath and I did a small trick I've performed ever since I discovered my powers. I huffed out of my mouth and a small flame and a tuft of smoke curled from my lips. Although I was unaffected, he backed up and I glared daggers at him. I looked up with disgust.

"For an officer, you're one of the biggest creeps I've ever met."

With that, he put his blue police cap back on and was about to grab Katrina's arm. I smirked and started chuckling to myself before he grabbed her. He looked at me funny and I burst out laughing.

"What's so funny miss?"

"I don't think you wanna do that."

He grabbed her arm roughly and the look on his face showed instant regret. His body started convulsing for a couple minutes while Katrina and I laughed all the while. She nudged his hand off and he fell to the ground still having a few spasms. He finally got up on his hands and knees and was heavily breathing, well, more like wheezing. He stayed like that and then puked up whatever breakfast and lunch was left from his stomach. The smell was terrible and the second officer here was now heading to the hover van to grab rubber gloves. I glanced at Katrina.

"Nice electrocution Kat."

"Thanks sis."

The second officer came back with gloves on and gently yet firmly grabbed my sister and I by our arms and put us in the back of the van. He shut the door and looked at us. I couldn't see his eyes really well because of his bushy uni-brow, but he sighed and rubbed his thick dark brown mustache.

"Sorry about that guy. He's a new recruit and heard stories about you two runaways."

His city accent was still there, but not as thick as the other guy's. Katrina looked at him via the rear-view mirror on the inside of the windshield with curiosity.

"There are stories about us?"

The officer had a hardy laugh while he spoke, "Yeah, a few. Just how you gals have powers that've kept us from catching you sooner. We almost thought you also had someone with invisibility powers because none of us ever caught sight of ya."

I shrugged my shoulders and the car started driving off. I looked at the left rear-view mirror and saw the one guy waving at the hover van. I smiled to myself knowing he'd have to walk all the way back to the city which was at the least 50 miles away.
