It's a beautiful day outside. The sun is shining brightly and kids are playing outside.
Sonic breathes in some of the fresh summer air. He then spots his yellow friend, Tails. He seems to be quite busy trying to fix a malfunctioning robot, so Sonic chooses not to bother him.
The weather is nice and fair, so he decided to go for a little jog.
...
He feels the wind brushing against his spines. Sonic's feet thump against the ground quite loudly. He is currently running on a track.
And as he runs, faster and faster, he feels some sort of weird energy getting stronger each time he runs a lap.
Sooner or later, a bright purple portal appears, and he stops running immediately.
As Sonic was about to call for his friend Tails, somebody pushes him into the portal.
He lets out a scream as the pure void soon completely covers him.
Eggman smiles. He has finally defeated Sonic! There is no way he will come back through that portal!
The portal closes, leaving Sonic in a completely new world.
