Chapter 11: Ignorance
"This is not the right time to talk to her, Collen. Let Eliza rest first and just leave," I heard Tito Mike say with such irritation. I think his two siblings are here again, and I think they want to talk with me.
Argh! It's disgusting that he's sitting in the Senate, but he doesn't care about the people he serves because he's busy clearing his name. The audacity of those kinds of people to be in the Senate but didn't do anything, tss.
I'm home already and feeling well. I haven't been out of my room for a day, and my uncle refrained me from watching the news about what happened. He doesn't want me to get stressed, but I need to know what happened to that man, even though he pointed a gun at my head.
"Brother, just let me talk to her. That's all I wanted," Tito Collen pleaded, the reason why I rolled my eyes and didn't hesitate to open the door. The three of them were in front of my room, and they froze for a second when they saw me.
Tito Collen clenched his jaw and crossed his arms. I can already tell that he's bothered about what happened, but should he be angry? He used his ignorance as a reason for people to retaliate against him.
"What did he tell you?" even though it's a dull question, I can hear the desperation in his voice as if he wants to save his reputation. I shut my eyes for a second and clenched my jaw because of his mindset.
