The Beginning(Chapter 1)

THE BEGINNING (CHAPTER 1)

MARCO’S POV
[7:00PM)

I can’t calm down while tears streaming down my cheeks.

"D-DAD?? HOW'S MOMMY LOLA?"I bow down my head as I say.

"We Need to Go back in The Philippines"dad said and hugged me.

"Please pack your things, Tomorrow morning is our flight to the Philippines. And by the way, please tell Mark that we’re going to the Philippines"  he added.

"Got it dad." I replied.

I texted  Mark that we’re going the Philippines tomorrow morning, so he can come prepared.

I went upstairs to pack up my clothes and ready all the things needed, including my passport.  After I finished packing, I had a very deep sleep with my tears getting dry.

I woke 3:00AM because our flight to the Philippines is 5:00AM.

After an hour, we went to the airport with Mark. By 5:00AM, We’re on board.

After 14 hours and 30 minutes of trip, At last we landed at the Philippines.

My Mom and Aunt Angel (Mark’s Mom) greeted us in departure area.

"How’s your flight anak?" my mom asked.

"It’s okay mom, my head hurts. I’m going to take a nap once we get home."

After an hour, We arrived at Manila.  Many people welcomed us, because Manila is my birthplace. Here is home, way back when I was a kid, then finally after 7 years, I get to see all of them again.

“Oh, ang pogi na ni Marco at Mark ha.” someone said.

“Si Marco mas pogi, matangkad na maputi pa” someone said.

Then, there goes Chloe. Our childhood friend.

"Mark ,Marco!! Namiss ko kayoo!"she shouted and hugged us both.

"Hey Chloe, how are you?" I asked
her.

"Wag moko englishin baka ma-nose bleed ako HAHAHAHA” then she patted my arm.

“Pshhhh…” I smirked at her.

"Mark, hindi ka nagbago. Maliit ka pa din." she teased Mark.

"Nagsalita ang maliit’’ ganti ni Mark.

They are both laughing, so I decided to go inside.

"Tito Jeff, Nasaan po si Mommy lola?" I asked my uncle with my low voice.

"Tomorrow We will go to the hospital, Go get some rest." He said.

“ Okay po."

While I’m trying to sleep, Mark and Chloe crashed into my room. They want to go to Mcdonalds. Bonding time daw. I have no choice, nagbihis na ako.

‘’Wow, pupunta lang tayo ng Mcdo ang gara pa ng suot mo.’’ Mark said.

"Ang pogi mo dyan" Chole said while smiling.

While we’re in the jeepney, all the people are staring at me like there was a dirt in my face. It’s getting pretty awkward.

“Kuya, may boyfriend kana po?" the girl said.

“Wala.” I said dryly.

"Pwede mahingi number mo?" the girl asked.

"I don’t give my number to strangers." I said to her.

“Eto miss, number ko. Single ako hehe" Mark said.

“No thanks” the girl said slightly embarrassed.

When we arrived, I got off first because I’m pissed.  We straightly went to Mcdonalds.

"Mark, hanap ka na ng table naten" I said.

"Sige" he replied.

Me and Chloe get in the line to order, then suddenly, someone took the space in front of us.

"Miss, hindi mo ba nakikita na may pila?" I said to her.

She raised her brow to me and went on the back marching.

"Hayss ganyan na ba ang mga babae sa Pilipinas?" I whispered to Chloe.

“Hayaan mo lang, masstress ka lang kakaisip’’ she said while slightly laughing.

After we eat, we straighly went home. As I open the door, my mom faced us.

"Halikayo dito Mark at Marco" my mom said.

We sat down at the living room facing my mom.

"Is it okay if we transfer you both here?" my mo asked.

“It’s okay basta kasama ko si Mark’’ I said.

Mark is my closest cousin and became my bestfriend too. He is the only one who can understand me.

"Oo naman, kasama talaga si Mark" my mom said.

"Sige, next week Monday is your first day of school."

"Okay po." we both said.”

Tomorrow we will buy your uniforms.

We spent the day with our family. Watched movie, go shopping and went to the park. 7:15PM exactly when we got home. We straightly gone to the living room to rest. Then, I completely took a nap.

After 2 hours, ginising ako ni Mark. Nag-aaya maglaro ng PS4.

‘’Tara g?” Mark said.

We were finished playing at 11:00pm and I feel asleep.
