This burdens on my back
Have been piling up in a heap
Getting difficult to walk
Add another feather and see me fall
Don't you realise
Every time I have been put down
With the biggest problems in life
When I thought I won't see another sunrise
When patience was not in my side
I have always survived
Gotten back on my feet
Every single time
I go down swinging in my fights
All my punches hitting right
Never been in a fight
Where I haven't gotten up every time
You can never put me down
No matter the challenge
I face it on
I have learnt to fall down
When the burden on my back
Becomes too heavy to carry on
What a fool I've been
To fight them all at once
When I could face them one on one
The mountains of life
They keep getting higher
The climbing to do
They keep getting harder
The falls that we suffer
Keep hurting more than the last one
But all I gotta do is keep on moving
Because there is no stopping me
I have faced challenges
Setbacks and failures
Losses and sadness
Which made me forget how to breathe
Like the world being pulled from underneath
Every voice in my mind telling I am meant for nothing more
Your whole life is meant to be a tragedy
Happiness is never gonna come knocking at your door
But still you see me
Stand infront of you breathing
Had to drown out the noise to remember how to breathe
And I hoped,
Of another day and another dream
Hope is God's gift
When you think life is taking a dark shift
Hope is the thing that steers you towards the right lane
The ray of sunlight shining through the darkness
The light of the stars and the moon in the dark nights
The breaking of dawn after a long night
