As the summer Sun was bringing the temperature up to match the heat of the rage that was growing deep within the hoards of people gathered outside the Department of Heath building, Lau-Ren was busy trying to get her papers gathered together in the right order for her, way-to-soon appointment with Ms. Retchett; Department Head of the newly minted 'Office of Consumer Health'.
Pushing the others away she managed to find her way into the security checkpoint of the building, It was there that Lau-Ren truly realized the extent to which this Government is going in order to track, monitor and control ALL of us. Just like the animals on the farm she used to care for when she was young, only now, it was the people having their movements monitored all day everyday. In order to protect Public Safety of course! "Not." She thought quietly to herself as she waited her turn to go through the Metal detector.
