China Sorrows walked down the corridor of The Irish Sanctuary. Being Unwell a few months previously, life had finally started to go back to normality. Her "sister", Rayne Darkchaser, had been extremely happy about her recovery, and had been extremely enthusiastic since.

China turned gracefully, heading to her room, working her way through doors, turning a few times and walking, before going to the next. Finally reaching the room, she sighed, opening the door.

Rayne turned quickly towards China, she had been filing a few things in the corner of the room. Rayne's blue eyes were staring at China, with a soft, reassuring expression. She smiled from behind her blue hair, which was flowing down to her shoulders, the blue of her eyes, shining against her deep skin. "What are you doing here?" She asked, tilting her head slightly, "I thought the meeting was supposed to last an hour" she said, laughing softly.

"I'm not sure what happened," china said softly, folding her arms, "but nobody was there on time, and I didn't want to waste time waiting for people, for something that I never cared about in the first place"

Rayne laughed, a soft laugh. Before China's recovery, Rayne would have never laughed, and would usually spend days, crying her heart out in her bedroom, after nightmares of her past, and her dead parents. It was heartbreaking to see, and China was glad that she had become a happier person. At the laugh Rayne had gave, China smiled, "its good to see you happy, you know that?" She said softly, going through her desk, which is cluttered with files, paper and books, scattered chaotically.

Rayne looked over at the desk, frowning "your desk is messy. Would you like to perhaps clean it?" She asked, putting the lest of the files into the cabinet.

"It's fine, I think I can find everything..." She frowned, searching the desk, "Spoke too soon." She laughed, "are you ok with cleaning it? I'm sort of in a rush."

Rayne smiled at China, her eyes bright, "of course." She said,
Smiling, "why are you in a rush?" Tilting her head slightly, her hair moves out Of way, allowing her locket on a chain, to come into view slightly. It's golden, and contains memories of her parents that had been cursed upon her by Nefarian Serpine, after he had killed her parents. The locket, being Irremovable, had given her all those nightmares, and had been the cause of many sensitive abilities, that had been forced upon her after her surge.

"Skulduggery Pleasant was hoping that I could meet with him today," she said, smiling, "He was asking for you, by the way."

"Tell him the same for me, Is Valkyrie gonna be there?" She asked, tilting her head slightly again. Gently.

"I think so," she pauses, "I heard she's been busy lately, so maybe or maybe not. I'm not sure."

"if she's there, tell her I say hi!" Rayne begins to pick up old, unused, paper from the desk.

"You know, you could come too." china said, casually, "I mean, I'm pretty sure you'd love to-"

"Of course id love to, China Sorrows, you've known me since I was six-" she said, teasingly, getting rid of the old paper. "I'd love to, if that's ok with you, of course."

China smiled, "Of course, my dear," she laughed, "Of course you can come. I knew you wanted to."

Rayne looked at her, "you know me well, then." She laughs, "when are we going?"

China raised her eyebrows slightly, thinking, "I think at around Three-ish. In about two hours. Don't you have to do something?"

Rayne thought for a second, she glanced at her nervously "Well... I did, but, you can reorganise it, I think." She smiles, "you will, won't you?"

China laughed, "Of course!" She smiled, and looked at Rayne, "Are you ok with that?"

Rayne nodded.

"Ok," China said softly, as Rayne continued to tidy her desk, "that's good", she said, laughing softly.
