The Queen of Clarines was walking in the hallways of Wistal castle. A file in her hand which she was examining. Following her were Lady Chriss and Lady Torou.

The Queen's dress swaying with the wind as well as her rare red hairs.

She heard a pair of footsteps which didn't come from their direction. It was infront of her. She closed the file and looked up to see Lord Haruka.

He stood almost one meter away from her. From his body language, it was sure that he had a matter to discuss with her.

She kept walking while making eye contact with him. She now stood a few feets away. He bowed to her.

"Yes, Lord Haruka. Is there something I can help you with?",she asked, not breaking the eye contact still.

"It's about King Zen. According to the recent reports and letters. It seems that King Zen would have to stay in Tanbarun for a while longer than planned. The matter is more serious than expected. ",said Lord Haruka.

"Sure. Anything else? I am positive, you didn't came all the way here to inform me this. Spill the beans already.",ordered the Queen.

The Lord was shocked. The Queen had a grin.

"The court has received a complaint from the subjects. It would have been better if the King was here to solve the problem.",said Lord Haruka, to overcome his sudden surprised mind.

"What would the complaint be?",asked the Queen.

"Particularly, the farmers have a complaint that-"

"That the wild animals are invading farms and destroying the crops.",the Queen completed.

The Queen never left a chance to surprise him.

"How did you know, Your highness?",asked Haruka.

"A Queen must know about their subjects' problems. Send the soldiers to drive them away from the farms. Inform them that it's my order. And take Lion Clarines as well with them. Hope that sums up the problems. If there is an issue regarding the country and the subjects, you may come up to me as I am in charge of the nation in My Lord's absence. His duties will be fulfilled by me, myself. ", Ordered the Queen.

She walked past him as he bowed down again.

Lord Haruto remembered the first time he encountered with her.

The time when Shirayuki was just a commoner. He had tried to drive her out of the castle. He was scared that she would use her friendship with Prince Zen to gain power and to improve her social status.

He gave Obi the task to scare the girl out of the castle. Obi showed a fake document to stop her from entering the castle and shooted her with an arrow.

But the girl stood confidently in front him. Not scared of anything.

He was really shocked that she actually had the guts to overpower him.

The more she started engaging herself in the politics and country, the more she got confident and strong.

She really got tough enough to rule the nation alone herself without any help.

Who would have thought that the shy and sweet common girl will turn into a bold and brave Queen that she is today.

He had seen her transformation very closely and knew that the King's words were true.

"You believe, she wouldn't use her own strands to advance? This particular girl isn't the type to have your expectation."

The King was right.

The Queen truly suited the King.
