Losing Hope.

The Beginning.

Sitting outside of my school

Waiting to be picked up by my mummy.

All the kids have already gone.

Teachers started to leave.

I sigh, she's late...again

I felt a hand on my back.

I looked up hoping to see mummy.

But it was just my teacher.

"Hope? Why are you still here?"

"I guess my mummy is running late" I say looking down.

Miss.Fritz bends down

"Hunny its 5:30. School finished at 2."

She had a point

"Hope!" I look up to see my brother

I started to get tears in my eyes was it really 5:30?

I got up grabbing my bag

"I will see you tomorrow Miss Fritz" I say walking down the stairs to my brother

The walk home had been silent

I didn't speak all I did was kick rocks and hung my head down

I go up to my room

She has been skipping picking me up from school all week but Miss Fritz didn't know.

I chuck my bag on the ground and sit on my bed looking at the wall.

"Dinners done"

I walk downstairs slowly

As I get to the kitchen I see

Mum. Dad. Jaxon. Clarise.

I get in my seat and look at the food not talking or eating

Everyone started eating and talking I just felt left out.

I sigh.

"Why aren't you eating Hunny?"

I look up at my mum then look back down.

"She hasn't spoken after I picked her up" Jax says

Everyone looks at me.

"you missed out on picking me up from school. You never came" i said

"I have been busy at work" she said

" you waited until 5:30 to tell Jax to pick me up i finish at 2"

i push my plate away and walk upstairs.

I woke up to Jax picking me up.

"Jax?" I say

"Don't worry I packed your clothes"

I looked to see my bag on his back

I look at him confused

"What's happening?" I ask

He was about to say something but we were outside and there was a lot of screaming

"Jax!!"

I see mum, dad and Clarise

We get in the car and dad drives off.

I look out my window and see people running.

There was something taking people down.

I looked closely.

It looked like a spider-alien

I hear mum and clarise screaming

And I notice I'm screaming too

The car had been flipped over.

"Is everyone alright?" I hear Daddy say.

In a minute we are all out of the car

We all turn to run but we hear mum scream.

We look behind us to see the spider thingyy jump on mum and soon she stopped screaming.

Daddy shot it a couple of times before it finally layed still.

We ran to mum only to see her not breathing.

I feel a tear escape from my eye

That was the last time I saw my mummy
