I would go home but I don't have one
I lost the closest person to me due to one of life's circumstances
& sometimes I don't know where my next meal is coming from
So please, just leave me alone
Life's not fair
Nobody really cares
I could probably use a friend
But I rather be left alone

This is where I drown in my own thoughts & I overthink
This is where insecurities come from
I don't care anymore, this is what I want
Maybe if I was more attractive people would like me
Or if I had money they'd stay in my life
Now that I want to be alone they want to ask me what's wrong
Don't bother, I've been this way
You don't ignore the people you care about
& you don't wait til they're alone to care
You learn a lot being on the back burner
& I've been here too long
So if I cry don't ask me what's wrong
I don't want to talk about it
Just leave me alone
