She still remembers this child so charming and affectionate.

She still remembers when they would play hide-and-seek or climb a tall tree.

She still remembers their childish promises but so important to her.

She remembers the child who took her hand and promised her forever and ever. 

She still remembers the smell of freshly baked pastries during their tea time.

She remembers everything.

She always thought that even though they were separated, they would never forget each other.

She thought he longed to see her again, just as she did.

But the reality is quite different.
