She stands at her easel in the middle of the classroom.
The teacher is at his desk, flipping through papers.
Concentrate.
Draw what's in front of you.
She picks up her pencil.
Make sure you get the spacing right this time.
She sets the pencil on the paper.
Shake.
Wrong.
She erases the line.
She puts the pencil down.
She blinks.
Come on it isn't that hard.
He's going to be mad that you aren't drawing.
Shake.
Stop shaking.
You're fine.
She picks up the pencil again.
Get it right this time.
She blinks again.
She stares at the teacher.
He continues to look through papers.
Her heart races.
Concentrate.
Breathe.
Shake.
Stop shaking.
Draw.
She puts her pencil on the piece of paper.
You're doing it wrong again.
She erases the line.
Shake.
Why won't you stop shaking?!
He's going to notice.
She glances back at the teacher.
He scans the room.
When their eyes meet she looks back towards the paper.
Wrong.
Shake.
Wrong.
Please let this stop.
Shake.
The teacher gets up from his seat.
Panic.
Shake.
Hurry.
Shake.
Do something.
Shake.
He'll get mad.
Shake.
The teacher makes his way across the room to her.
I'm trying sir.
Shake.
It's okay. Take your time. You're doing great.
Shake.
He doesn't mean that.
Shake.
You're doing it wrong.
Shake.
Do it like the rest of the class.
Shake.
You're never going to get it right.
Shake.
The teacher sits back down at his desk.
She takes a breath.
Shake.
Just draw something.
Stop wasting time.
Shake.
She blinks again.
She puts her pencil back on her paper.
Draw.
Don't shake.
