Y/N's POV

I frowned at the sight of my crush, Rick, handling some transfer papers. He's going to be out for a while...and I don't even have the courage to approach him.

"Hey, Y/N." Feeling some goosebumps
chilling down my spine. I turned my head, taking a glance at him. "What're you
doing there?"

"I uhh....petting some....uhh....cockroach?" | blurted out, nervously.

"Who would even pet a cockroach?" He
laughed clutching his stomach. "Damn
Y/N, I didn't know you were funny."

"Uhh? Hahaha." I blushed.

"Whatever. What brings you here?" Rick
asked me once more.

"Err...I heard you were transferring, i-is
it true?" I frowned, only to be patted on
the head.

"Hey it's true. But there's no need to
worry, is there?" He grinned, making me
blush.

"Yeah..."

"Now that you're here, why not hear me
play?" I perked up as soon as I heard him
say that. I really wanted to hear him play
the piano live.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt to." I smiled.

The song that he played sounded so deep. So meaningful. As if it were for someone.

He paused and stopped playing the piano.

It made me wonder why he stopped, and it
made me feel anxious whether he's comfortable with me around. "Is it okay?"

Huh?

"Is it okay?" Rick repeated, giving me a sad
smile.

"Oh? Y-Yeah, it's great. Who are you
gonna dedicate it to?"

"...Some girl." He said, blushing slightly.

I bit my lip at his response. It somehow
crushed my heart.

"M-May I ask who is it?" Being curious
isn't that bad. I just wanted to know the
truth whether he likes me or someone
else. As easy as that but hard to accept.

"A special girl. She's my entire world."
He smiled.

"Oh. Well, I guess you can shout it out and dedicate it to the world then." I grinned even if my heart's aching.

"Thanks, Y/N."

"No prob." I mumbled, but I stopped when I heard him whisper in my ear.

"I dedicate it to you."

"H-Huh? I said dedicate it to the world."
I blushed intensely.

"Hmm? You said dedicate it to the
world, but I say, you're my world." Rick
winked.
