FALL'S CALL

As summer breaths it's final breath

To prepare for fall's call

The monarchs prepare for their journey's reign

To find a home with a warmer plain

From green to red, orange to brown

The trees discard and shed their leaves

For parents to rake and kids to play

The leaves then spread each and every way

There's Thanksgiving to come

And a four day vacay to see

When kids get out of school they shout

"YIPEEEEE!"

Thanksgiving feast nobody can forget

Were everybody shares what they don't regret

Cheers and laughter around the table,

Telling their most beloved thanksgiving fables

As autum carves way for winter's path

We bid farewell to a dear old friend's past

Until spring and summer's warmth begins to seaze

And glorious fall returns to me in a breeze!
