From a young age she's been mostly lonely

Except her mom and twin

Her older siblings weren't ones she could tolerate

And her mom wasn't the best company she could ask for

Her mom was very controlling of her

Odalia picked her name

Even Ophelia's hair was like Odalia when she was a student , except the larger ponytail that's chin length (still in same location so it's up then falls, so it's decently long), the aquamarine color and the brown tip on the front of her hair and on the end of the ponytail , her face was like Amity's , they were twins after all

Odalia had Ophelia's hair dyed before Amity's

Odalia taught Ophelia magic ,she mostly taught her a lot of oracle magic with the expectation that she'd join that coven

Ophelia didn't choose her track , she couldn't

she didn't have a friend other than Amity , she refused to be friends with Boscha and the others

And when asked why she always replied

"It's a waste of time , it's not like I enjoy their company"

Ophelia wanted a true friend , a companion

And her eyes lit up when she saw one of her dad's abominations

But it was from a different track , even though she still hasn't chosen a track her mom already chose, and she couldn't really talk back to her mom so she could change her decision

Even their conversations are mostly one sided

The Oracle track had spirits that could've worked

If not for the fact that they weren't always there like abominations could be

You needed the glass orbs

So she decided to try to make an oracle magic spirit like an abomination

And it worked!

She did it , without any crystal balls or anything

But when Odalia saw this , she doubled Ophelia lessons that she gave her

Ophelia liked dabbling with magic but she hid the more unusual things she could do with the spirits she made

She didn't need more lessons, she didn't need more of her mom

Especially when the only person she really ever spends time with other than her mom is Amity

So other than Amity , she really just felt alone

Ophelia was Amity's only real friend after she cut off ties with Willow

And Amity was Ophelia's only friend

They didn't depend on each other as much as Ed and Em did due to how differently they grew up

But they worked well together

Both liked reading

Both liked the good witch Azura

Even their magics worked incredibly well together

They both knew each other's secrets

And they'll face many challenges

together

Or alone

They're used to it after all
