· First things first, what is the purpose of this project?
This project has been created to help ourselves and others to (hopefully) overcome creative blocks as fledgeling authors and/or artists. Our main aim is to develop our writing/drawing skills and explore a diverse range of topics and scenarios in fiction.

We will choose a certain theme/topic/trope, and create works based on it. Anyone can participate as long as they abide by the following rules:

Rule 1: The selected theme must be included in your work. You can do one of these:

-Write a short story (drawing optional)
-Write a scenario (drawing optional)
-Write a poem (drawing optional)
-Make drawings/a painting/sketches based on the theme
-Create a short comic

Reader inserts are allowed.

There is no particular word limit, but do keep in mind that your work will be published in a single chapter, so be sensible.

You can submit only one entry per theme. The only exception is submitting drawings with written works.

As for art, both traditional and digital mediums are accepted. You can choose any medium you like.

Rule 2: Each theme will last for two weeks (exactly 14 days). A deadline will be mentioned for each theme. Submit your work before this deadline.

Rule 3: Do not write or depict sexually explicit scenes. Keep mature topics to a minimum as this book will not be tagged as one.

However, nudity and violence/gore to a certain extent can be included in your work. Swearing is permitted. But please remember to add Warnings.

Rule 4: Banned topics include incest and paedophilia. You can portray them in a negative sense if you do mention them.

Do note that incest does not cover cousin marriages, as this particular type of relationship has been prevalent in many societies in the past, and is still common in certain regions today, being legal in most countries.

Do not disparage a particular faith or group of people in your work.

Rule 5: Do not use established characters/settings from existing works of fiction.

Fanfictions of actual persons, living or dead, are not going to be accepted.

This project's aim is to help us create our own characters, so unleash your imagination.

Rule 6: No plagiarism will be tolerated. Work submitted must be yours.
