The Lost Town

Hi I'm Maggi and here's the story of how I found a old town that gave earth a fright, after finding out magic is real. It was one typical day for me i got home from work. I work as a scientist, and I got a call from my boss saying that the next day we were going on a business trip to Africa to experiment on a old town some family found deep in Lake Edward.

I was excited to go, so I started packing right away I packed all my equipment, and then stuff like my clothes and shoes. Then I had dinner and went to sleep. When I woke up I put on some dark blue leggings, a black t-shirt and my Air Forces and went on my way. I drove to the airport and met my boss and my four colleagues there. The four colleagues were Harper, Daisy, Michel, and Adien. We got on the plain I guess Daisy had a rough night be cause she slept the hole ride there, Harper, Adien, And Michel I couldn't see though. When we arrived the bumpy landing woke up Daisy. It was a two day trip there so Daisy had been shocked that she slept the hole time. Boss had told us who was doing what, Daisy was cleaning the things we find, Michel was exploring, and Adien was helping manager, I was with Michel, I was helping with exploring. Me and Michel put on our scuba diving gear and jumped in, the lake was 56 feet down so we had to swim pretty far down. When we got down there it was a really big plot of land me and Michel just thought it was gonna be like a hut or two but we saw a few acres of land. Me and Michel swam around for a bit i found a few broken pairs of sunglasses, but nothing interesting, the most exciting thing we found was a still working old cell phone.

Manger was not happy with what we found. She sent us back down and told us to not come up until we had something useful. Michel and Me swam for like an hour until Michel saw something it looked like a fin or more like a tail. Me and Michel thought it was so cool because it was to big to be a fish but to small to be a human.

We brought that up to boss she was very impressed with this discovery, and she told us good job and sent us to change into dry clothes. I got changed and went to the hotel, with my colleagues and had dinner. Boss paid for us and then she told us our hotel rooms me and Daisy had room 202 and Michel and Harper had room 204 boss had room 203. The room wasn't very big and had one bed and a bed couch thing, no kitchen just a mini-fridge, and a really gross bathroom.

I didn't want to sleep on the couch and Daisy agreed to sleep on the couch. When we woke up it was six am, boss had us wake up early for work. Manger had me and Mitchel investigate the "tail" we had found.
