Summary: While Brandy is performing Have You Ever at the 1999 AMAs, she becomes emotional because she begins to think about her relationship with Monica, the person she secretly wrote this song about. *The events/flashbacks are in no particular order*

Brandy's POV

As soon as I hear the melody for Have You Ever begin to play, bittersweet memories of Monica-the person this song is about-and I's relationship began to cycle through my mind like some sort of depressive fever dream. As tears begin to roll down my eyes, I try and quickly and subtlety wipe them away before anyone notices, but after a few failed attempts I give up and let them flow freely without interference.
