Shallow oceans

He wraps his hands around nothing, the nothing that consumes his heart; the cold empty blank part.

Like sand the weird feeling flows through his arms, he grabs her in contemplation,
when he sees her in his imagination,
the boat rocking to the music of the winds,

he stands there in isolation.

He swings with the beat of his heart, he swings with his arms apart.

He swings with his eyes drooling with insanity, Was he out of the world when he tried to live his fantasy?

The king

He is like an open book,
he leaves his heart for the world to read, he lives so freely in the cage of his beliefs.

Roaming around in his boot, Rules like a king,
over what he doesn't posses.

With his hands on his head,
diving into his shallow shadow
while still being the same,
Why does he feels so uplifted with the absence of his fame?

An unsuccessful entertainer,
the lion he can't tame,
sinking when he sleeps,
loosing count of those jumping sheeps.

You

I stand there barefoot,
the baron bricks seeping through my feet, with the skies purple,
my skin fades away.

Amid the clouds
the dust runs to where there is no destination.
Wouldn't be fun when you find him,
because you're happy with him stuck in your imagination, surrounded by the ocean,
yet you still say you're stuck in isolation.

You ungratefully blame the world,
while you have your hands tied with the rope of your mind. How do you expect to find love when it's you that you can't find?

Your heart heavy while you're mind flies,
you see with your red eyes and downed shoulders carrying what you were but can't be.

What don't you see? Why don't you see it?

You so desperately try to climb out of what you have created.

Your body sinking with the weight of you, trying to run away from what is true.

The atheist

The atheist who prayed for his life, when he saw the fire in his wife.
