No one could say Happy Meadows Geriatric Centre was a wasteland. It's clientele could put most of the today's generation to shame. Attitude was everything at Happy Meadows.
Yet, there were two characters I would see on a daily basis who would just sit and watch. The weekly "Happy Meadow's Happy Hour" could be going on around them, and a bleakness would emit from them like an oncoming storm. That should have been a clue. Unknowingly, one staff member attempted to harass these two into taking part in such a weekly soirée.
Happy Meadows was not so happy anymore.
