The candle of fate

The begining of the end

Dear diary,
It's coming to the end of year and I'm really exited to see what 2021 brings me i have been home for almost a week and a parcel has arrived, but it's for me?
I never get parcels, I went to go ask my mother what it was she didn't know!

I sat in my bedroom staring at the parcel until I decided to open it.
Inside was a candle it had a wonderful cent to it, underneath that was a note it said -
"This candle holds your fate once it runs out you will have to make an important life changing decisions"
"What kind of decision?" I thought to myself.
A couple of hours latter at dinner everyone was talking and all of a sudden, my thoughts ushered me away to a fantasy land!
"Katherine?" My mother called my name I quickly snapped out of daydreaming and I was standing in the middle of the living room holding a note that according to my mother it was written by me.
"Katherine Parker,
You have to light the candle or else there will be consequences.."
