It's been a while, especially since this book was published and out for all to see, but I'm officially back. I've waited to kind of say "official" for a while now, trying to establish more of a working base to come back on certain grounds and all.
So here's what you'll get to expect from me in terms of projects and life updates!

1. THE PLACEBO EFFECT
Chapter two is finally up, so please feel free to check it out, as the book's been vacant since its year hiatus began. I thought a lot about unpublishing the book and revisiting it at a later date, but in the process of sorting through notes, I fell back in love with the premise and am working on it once more!
2. THE STORMS WE SEEK
With the help of apricityfeathers and SerenadingBlackbirds, I've started a book centered around Pipit- an autistic rogue! This was previously published and all set to go prior to realizing I got a little too caught up in the hype and instead decided to step back and spend a lot more time getting to know my characters and representing them in a realistic and respectful way.
You can expect more updates on this one, most likely around late January or early February, as it will be my focus piece for the next month or so.
3. THIS IS WHAT WE KNOW
My big passion project! This Is What We Know was originally supposed to be a novella discussing motive instead of mystery- that is we know the murderer but not why he murdered.
However, ideas spiral, and now it has been spun into a speed write- a dedicated first draft to a story filled to the brim with characters and relationships I've never actually written before~ and boy is it dark!
My focus is to get to the finish of the book before I begin updating, or at least with the end in sight, so that those who read can keep their attention on it due to its incredibly short nature, so expect this smidge of a story mid January!

1. THE MAN WHO HAD ME FIRST
For anyone who knows me well, they know my life changed in a terrible way this January, and a lot of support from my best friends and my remarkably kind boyfriend have led me to spending time reflecting on it- telling the story of how people come to dance with devils they perceived to be angels. This memoir style book is being written in real time accordance with memories that I end up recalling the most.
2. JUNIPER & THORNS
My warriors take on the classic "bloodthirsty" clan, based off a one shot I wrote for amino a while ago that I just absolutely fell in love with. It's been temporarily put on the back burner while I focus on other projects and works but it's still being drafted and worked on.
3. AMMILPAW'S BURDEN
AHA! A title probably recognized by anyone who knew me circa 2018, as this was my favorite book to work on. Unfortunately, I fell out of love with it because of plot holes, weak undertones, and immature themes, and I ended up taking it down.
However, it is my goal to sort of refurbish and edit the hell out of it to get a decent book explaining more of the clans and history I previously neglected to really worldbuild.

1. A NEW FAMILY MEMBER
and worker!
Due to me willingly diving head first into debt as a sophomore in college, I've officially begun the process of getting my service dog, so writing might take a hold (not might, it will) in regards to training and working with a brand new puppy soon after a big move out of my house.
We're currently decided between Bean and Sable for names (for a black lab), but if you guys have any name suggestions please let me know!
2. MY FLIPPING FOOT
I'm writing this at 11pm with my boyfriend sleeping soundly on the other end of the phone, and I just wanted to announce to everyone that my foot hurts and to be careful to not inflame your tendons folks because it fuckin sucksss.

For coming at this little update, because damn it's been a while! It's good to see you all again, and if anyone wants to catch up please let me know! School is finally out so I can read fanfics and chat more!
Ahh also quick shoutout to Blackbird and darkinq- for being the absolute best, the former just being a great person and friend to chat with, and the latter for just letting me text her random updates about books and life because she's amazing.
