My Boyfriend Has A Boy-friend

I have a boyfriend, and he has a bestfriend. A male bestfriend. A boy-friend. Notice the dash? Yeah, a friend that is a boy. Then why the $%£@ is my boyfriend and his boy-friend (emphasize the dash) acting like a freaking gay couple?!
