"I told you, if you started to fail, I'd bring you home." The cranky old woman told the restless girl, trying not to yell. "And I told you that Hogwarts is my home so it looks like we don't have a problem." The girl replied, pushing herself off of the stool she sat on and heading upstairs, a smirk gracing her lips. "You will be the death of me Adiya." Replied the woman, smiling as she watched her granddaughter head upstairs. "Unless I'm called old age, I don't think so." She darted up the stairs with a cheesy smile and a death wish. "You're crossing a fine line between cheeky and brutal, young lady!" "Whatever!" * Adiya, a fifteen year old student at Hogwarts school, lives with her grandmother most days as her parents are constantly travelling due to their job. If them travelling a lot wasn't enough, Hogwarts term time usually clashed with the dates they were back and Adiya was lucky if she got to see them more than once a year. She didn't know what they did, but she quickly learnt to stop asking. Due to the quietness that always enveloped the house and the loneliness that suffocated Adiya, when she got to Hogwarts she surrounded herself with loud and outspoken people, which had a tendency to make her loud spoken as well. However she also quickly found out that McGonnagal didn't like that. Unfortunately, it had come to fifth year and everyone found themselves buried in work for their owls. Work that Adiya didn't want to do. She took any chance she could to not work, leaving everything to the last minute. But if staying up all night, thinking about what to write about animal transfiguration with Peter, meant she could pull a prank with James and Sirius or gossip with Alice and Marlene she didn't mind. But, pair that with creepy hints from her brother about soon to be murders, her parents being a big part in the upcoming war and Adiya becoming more of a target than ever, grades weren't all what she had to worry about. **I don't own the cover or HP**
