Seven get on. Six get off. Tully was only supposed to ride the bus for a little while in order to get far enough away from her parents. She wasn't supposed to ride for a whole day and night, and certainly wasn't supposed to steal someone's watch. Lake was only supposed to escort his grandmother Hilly to the nursing home. He wasn't supposed to meet a pretty girl. He certainly wasn't supposed to start liking her. Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin were only leaving town in order to find a venue for their daughter's wedding. They weren't supposed to take a bus, and Mr. Benjamin wasn't supposed to be murdered. Detective Michael wasn't supposed to be going anywhere at all. He was just tired, and somehow found himself on a bus going nowhere. He wasn't supposed to solve any crimes. He wasn't supposed to sleep with someone's wife, either. Mitchy is just there. Wait. Why is he there? Someone has murdered Mr. Benjamin, and all the suspects have the same alibi. There was nowhere for the killer to hide. Or was there? Route 373 will end in bloodshed. And tears. Lots and lots of tears.
